No password, ever. The editor signs you in with a one-tap link sent to your email — click it and you're in. Building by email or text just uses your address or phone number. Your email is your identity, so there's nothing to create or remember.

Yes. Your work is tied to your email address, so the editor and email are the same conversation. Start a site on your laptop, add a photo from your phone by email, then sign in anywhere later with the same address and it's all there. (Text messages build under your phone number, which is its own thread — use email or the editor if you want everything in one place.)

Usually a minute or two for the first version. Edits are faster — often seconds. In the editor you watch it happen live; by email or text you get a link back when it's ready.

Just say what you want in plain words — “make the header green,” “add an About page,” “put the hours at the top,” “use this photo.” No dashboards or settings. It remembers your site, so you never have to re-explain it. See Getting started.

Yes — a live, hosted site at its own address with automatic HTTPS, not a template preview or a mockup. It's yours to share the moment it's published. You can point your own domain at it on a paid plan.

Work-in-progress lives on a private draft at an unguessable address, so nothing is public until you publish. In the editor the preview shows your draft as you build.

Yes. Attach images (drag & drop, paste, the 📎 button, or an email attachment) and they're placed for you with alt text written automatically. Attach a CSV or Excel file — a menu, price list, or schedule — and it's rendered onto the page as a clean list or table. More in Features.

Yes — ask for a contact form, RSVP, or quote request. It's added with spam protection, and submissions are emailed to you. Sites themselves stay static and script-free for speed and security, so this is the one thing that talks to a server, and it's handled for you.

Yes, on a paid site. Tell the Agent your domain and it gives you one DNS record to add at your registrar; HTTPS is set up automatically. Your free .botbuilt.site address keeps working too. See Custom domains.

Yes. Ask the Agent whether a name is available and it quotes one yearly price covering the domain and a discounted site plan — buying a domain makes that site a paid site, so there's nothing else to pay. You are the registered owner (we're the technical contact, with WHOIS privacy on), and Amazon Registrar will email you one link to verify your details — click it within 15 days or ICANN suspends the domain. If we can't complete the registration you're refunded in full and the subscription is canceled; once a domain is registered it can't be refunded, but it's yours for the term you paid for. Yes — it's your domain. ICANN locks every newly registered domain against transfer for its first 60 days; after that, ask us and we'll unlock it and give you the authorization code your new registrar asks for.

It's free to start — a hosted site on a .botbuilt.site address, no credit card. You pay per site: a paid site is $10 per month and gets your own domain, no watermark, collaborators, and adds credits, forms and photos to your account. To buy one, open the editor and say upgrade. See Plans & limits.

Your sites and work aren't deleted. A site that is no longer paid becomes a free site again: the badge returns and a custom domain switches off after a two-week grace period, while your .botbuilt.site address keeps serving it. You can add, reduce or cancel anytime from the editor.

Sites go through a moderation and validation check before publishing. Please keep it lawful and within our content policy. Because every site is static with no custom scripts, there's no arbitrary code running — it's safe by design.

Just describe the problem the same way you build — in the editor, by email to build@botbuilt.site, or by text. If a change didn't land, ask again or say “undo that.”
