BotBuilt lets you build and edit a website just by texting or emailing us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we keep our data collection small.
What we collect
- Your contact identity — the phone number or email address you reach us from. It's how we reply to you and how your saved sites are tied to you.
- Your messages — the requests you send describing or editing a site, and any photos or data files (CSV/Excel) you attach for us to place in it.
- The sites you build — the pages we generate for you and the conversation history that lets an edit like "make the header green" work without you re-stating everything.
- Basic delivery metadata — timestamps and message identifiers used to deduplicate, rate-limit, and debug delivery.
We do not ask for or store sensitive personal information, and you should not send it. Anything you publish to a site is, by design, public.
How we use it
We use your messages and attachments solely to build, edit, preview, and publish the site you asked for, to reply to you, to operate the service (spam and abuse prevention, rate limits, support), and — if you upgrade — to process payment. We don't use your content to advertise to you, and we don't sell or rent it.
Who processes it
We build on a small set of infrastructure providers who process data only to deliver the service on our behalf:
- AWS — hosting, message delivery (SMS/email), and storage of your sites and conversation history.
- Anthropic's Claude, via Amazon Bedrock — the model that reads your request and authors your site. Content sent through Bedrock is not used to train models.
- Stripe — payment processing if you upgrade to a paid plan. We never see or store your full card details.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the contact/feedback forms your published sites can include.
We don't share your information with anyone else, and we never sell or rent your phone number, email, or message content.
SMS/text-messaging opt-in and consent. Your mobile opt-in and consent information is never shared, sold, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for any purpose, including marketing. This category is excluded from all data sharing described above.
How long we keep it
We keep your sites and conversation history so you can come back and edit them later. You can ask us to delete your account, your sites, and your message history at any time — email support@botbuilt.site and we'll take care of it.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to opt out of messaging at any time; reply HELP for help. You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@botbuilt.site. See our SMS terms for how texting works and our content policy for what's allowed on the sites you build.
